Organisational Structure
TDC is governed by a Board of Directors and a Project Assessment Committee comprised of senior business executives who serve on a voluntarily basis to stimulate ideas and provide commercial insight towards the further development of the local tourism industry.
The Board of Directors is elected at the company’s Annual General Meeting and is responsible for overseeing the general direction of the organisation with regard to administration and the allocation of funds to various tourism-related projects.
The Government of Barbados retains a mandatory representative and the Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association, a supernumerary representative, on the company’s Board of Directors.
